Netherlands March (Ryan Gosling) is an eye down on his luck private in Los Angeles in 1977. Jackson Hili (Russell Crove) hired enforcer who hurt people for a living. Destination red doubles unlikely, after a young woman named Amelia (Margaret Kuallei) mysteriously disappears. Healy and March will soon learn the hard way that some people and looking dangerous Amelia. Their investigation leads them to dark places, like everyone else who was involved in the case looks to finish dead.

Par language private detective investigating the apparent suicide of a porn star in 1970 Los Angeles.
